It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rhonda Lynnette Lucas Parks, born on
June 30, 1950 in Houston, TX and died December 19, 2023 at The Lucas Family Farm in Richards, TX. 
Rhonda was a devoted wife to her husband of 49 years.  Rhonda was a successful businesswoman who owned and operated BPI, Inc. alongside her husband Bradley.


She was known for her feisty wit, love of fast cars, love of God and was a beautiful artist who loved painting and photographing birds, wildlife and wildflowers. Rhonda was also a lover of vintage Hollywood movies which reminded her of kinder, simpler times. Rhonda blazed her own trails, beat to the tune of her own drum and loved fiercely. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will live on in the hearts of her family.

The funeral for Rhonda will be held Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 11 am at Bays Chapel United Methodist Church, 24790 Bays Chapel Rd, Richards, TX 77873 with internment to immediately follow at Independence Cemetery, 13367 FM 2620, Bedias, TX 77831.

A reception will be held after the internment in the Fellowship Hall of Bays Chapel Church.

Rhonda is survived by her husband and sons. 
She was preceded in death by her parents Wilburn Ira Lucas(1926-2021) and Hazel Irene Carter Lucas Bodak of Huntsville, TX, great-grandparents William Fine Lucas and Winnie Juanita Whitaker Lucas of Richards, TX, nephew Ty Lothringer of Richards, TX and brother-in-law Floyd C. “Skeeter” Lothringer of Conroe, TX.
