Edley Hail

Edley Hail

I am so very sorry to announce the passing of
Edley "Bill" Hail,
Thursday August 15th, 2024 at 3:23 PM.
Bill had been suffering with pulmonary fibrosis for the past year.  He was a candidate for a Lung transplant and was going thru all the preliminary procedures and had just been ok'd for an emergency operation yesterday, but time ran out today.

This is one great man who loved his classmates and was a friend to all!

From the time when we were kids riding bikes in our neighborhood, til the last time I saw him, I have adored this man. He was a sweet, gentle person full of love for his friends and most especially his family. I am truly devastated by his passing. My condolences to Rita and all the many members of his dear family.

Bill was such a sweet man, breaks my heart. Such a joy at the reunion with his camera filling up the room. His facebook posts will be sorely missed - always so happy and he loved his family so very much.  My prayers go to this sweet family with this great loss.  Rest well, Bill.

I have a lot of fond memories of Bill in high school. He was always a happy upbeat guy, and always fun to be around.  It sounds like Bill lived a good life, and he will be remembered by the people who he touched. My condoleneces to his family, Bill was a great guy

Bill was one of those rare people who truly made the world a better place.  He was characterized by that ever present and very welcoming smile.  Each one of us was a better person for having known Bill and having shared some of our formative years with him.  The last time we talked was at our 40th reunion, and one thing was very apparent...his character and concern for others was rock solid and unchanged.  Beloved by all.

Bill was always a real gentleman. Every time that I drove up to a class  picnic he always came to my car to carry everything into the Pavillion at Bear Creek Park. He never failed me. I will always miss him at any events that we may have over the next few years. My heart breaks for Rita, and all of their family. RIP Bill.
