Pat Gandy
       1950-1997

Phillip Patrick "Pat" Gandy was born October 21, 1950 in Houston, Texas to Dolly Joe Dickerson Gandy (1926-2020) and Doyle Wane Gandy (1924-1974).  He married Lisa Brack on August 14, 1974 in Harris Co., Texas.  He married Sharon Leigh Macmanus (1946-2004) on February 18, 1983 in Montgomery Co., Texas. 
Pat passed away on February 9, 1997, in Mobile Alabama.  He was 46 years old.

Mr. Phillip Patrick Gandy, a native of Houston, TX a nd a resident of Mobile, AL died at a local hospital Sunday, February 9, 1997.  He was a graduate of the University of New Orleans and traveled overseas extensively in his line of work.  Until his recent illness, Mr. Gandy was owner of "Books With A Past" bookstore in Mobile, Alabama. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Doyle Wayne Gandy. 
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Leigh Gandy of Mobile,AL; his mother, Dolly J. Schultz of Ocean Springs, MS; two brothers, Michael W. Gandy of Shreveport, LA, and Kelly Bryan Gandy of Baton Rouge, LA; and three sisters, Carole Susan Griswold of Baton Rouge, LA, Melinda Storck of Nantuckett, MA and Amy Collenn Ganduy of Santa Rosa, CA.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, Research Department, P.O. Bo &-1060, Mobile, AL 36688.
