Michael Richard Barth, better known as Mike, passed away at the age of 73 on August 13, 2023, in Austin, Texas, after a valiant battle with Parkinson's disease. Born on April 30, 1950, Mike was a man of wisdom, intelligence, and humor, characteristics that brought light and laughter into the lives of those who knew him.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Jeneen Barth; sons Richard Barth, Greg Barth, and daughter-in-law, Joi; grandchildren, Matt, Meagan, Mitch, and Morgan, and great-grandson, Marty. As a dedicated family man, he played a pivotal role in their lives, guiding them with his wisdom, making them laugh with his humor, and inspiring them with his intelligence.

Mike was a well-educated man with a degree as an Electronics Technician. He utilized his skills and knowledge throughout his remarkable career, serving as a Lead Technician at North American Turbine, Lower Colorado River Authority, and AMD. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and his problem-solving skills, he was a respected figure in his field.

Above all, Mike was a man of varied interests. He was an avid sport shooter and had a keen interest in sports cars and tools. These hobbies were more than just pastimes for him. They were a testament to his precision, his love for speed, and his appreciation for the finer things in life.

The memories he created will remain etched in the hearts of those who knew him. His legacy will continue to inspire and guide those he left behind. Michael Barth, a life well-lived, a man well-loved.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 18, 2023, at Harrell Funeral Home-Dripping Springs. A Rosary Service will follow at 6 p.m.

Funeral Mass will occur on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at St. Anthony Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Runge Catholic Cemetery.
