Mrs. Girndt taught Bookkeeping, Clerical Practice, and Shorthand.  She was also department chairman.

BARBARA MORGAN GIRNDT, 67, of Katy, passed away Monday, December 24, 2001, in a local hospital.
Survivors: Husband: Robert O. Girndt, Katy, children: Robert M. Girndt and wife Shannan, Tomball, Meredyth DeBoer and husband Mark, Spring, Melinda Keels and husband Jeff, The Woodlands, 7 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
Mrs. Girndt will lie in state at the Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel, in Katy, after 1:00 PM Wednesday. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 PM until 8:00 Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday at the Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel, in Katy.
