Mrs. Brown was Dean of Girls at Spring Woods.

Mary Annice Andrews was born October 14, 1922 in Uvalde, Texas.  She was the daughter of Charles Forrest Andrews (1881-1940) and his wife Annis Speed Andrews (1888-1967) in Uvalde, Texas.  
Mrs. Brown had two brothers that were famous actors; Dana Andrews (1909-1992), and Steve Forrest (1925-2013).

 She married James Lloyd Brown, Sr. in 1945 in Harris County, Texas.  They had a daughter, Nancy Sue Brown (1946-2004) and a son, James Lloyd Brown, Jr. (1948-1988).

Mrs. Brown passed away April 25, 1990 in Grapeland, Texas at the age of 67.
