Woodrow Wilson "W. W.", "Red" Emmons was the son of John T. Emmons and his wife, Jennie Milburn Emmons.  He was born Oct 22, 1914 in Alido, Parker County, Texas. 

W. W. married Coye Janette Miller on January 27, 1949.  They had one daughter.  Coye passed away at the age of 102, August 22, 2023 . 

After college, W. W. taught history and coached.  After coaching for several years he moved to administrion.  In 1962, he became Assistant Principal of Instruction at Memorial High School.  He moved to the position of Prinicpal of Spring Woods High School it's opening year, 1964.

W. W. passed away on March 30, 1996, Harris County, Texas, at the age of 81.  Burial is at East Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford, Parker County, Texas
