I was friends with Carolyn from grade school at Oak Forest. My younger brother, Joe, and her brother, Jerry, were best friends all the way through school and still stay in touch. Jerry's daughter and my youngest daughter have been great friends with each other, also. The Hutchins, in some funny way have always been a part of my life. Carolyn had the deepest dimples and the most beautiful warm eyes. I saw her a month before she had her aneurysm and she was so very happy in her life, still gorgeous, as ever. She had a very small little girl that was adorable and two older sons. Her husband took Carolyn home from the hospital and nursed her for, I think eight or nine years, before she died. What a beautiful love story and what grace. She lived across the street from Oak Forest Elem., next door to Michelle Atzenhoffer. I hope someone reading this will share more on Carolyn, such a beautiful person.

I remember thinking Carolyn was so lucky to live so close to school (Oak Forest and Black). She and I had many classes together from elementary through high school and were in Brownies together, I believe. She had the greatest laugh and smile.

I remember Carolyn from grade school through high school. How sad to lose such a classmate.

I'm pretty sure this is the same Carolyn that had a horse at Silver Spur Stables, when I did. I don't think we had many classes together, but shared our love of horses. Mine was a pretty, but plain, brown horse... hers was the prettiest paint you'd ever want to see, mostly white with very light brown splotches. We taught our horses tricks, like counting, etc., but she taught her horse many more tricks than I did. I was amazed.... she taught hers to lay down... mine wouldn't.
She was a gentle and caring person... (you get to see a lot about a person's character, by the way they treat their horse). I liked & respected Carolyn very much.

Someone please tell me if this is the right Carolyn, I know it was either Hutchins or Hutchinson.

Carolyn and I were close friends in elementary school at Oak Forest. I remember how much fun we had and how I always thought she was so pretty and I wanted to have my hair like hers. I did hear about her medical accident and I was so saddened to hear of it. I remember her as a joyful and easy going girl.
