I only attended Waltrip for about a year. I was Secretary of DECA. My family moved to Spring in October '68 and I had to transfer to another school. Prior to Waltrip, I attended Black Jr. High, OSL (private school 7th & 8th grades) and Katherine Smith elementary. I was also an active member at Oaks Christian Church.

Anyone remember having to get down on your knees so our skirts could be measured (by the guidance counselor) to be sure that they were no more than 2 inches off the floor?
