HELEN ZOE ALFORD, 60, of Houston, Texas passed away on August 5, 2008. She was born on October 31, 1947 in Indiana, Pennsylvania, to William L. (Ted) and Diamond Harrison. She is preceded in death by her father, Ted Harrison. She was a beloved wife, mother and friend. She is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Jack Alford; her mother, Diamond Harrison; daughter, Zoe Beinart and husband, Brad; son, Jonathan Alford; brother, Arthur Harrison; nephews, Ted and Thomas Harrison and niece, Nia Harrison. Trisagion prayers will be held on Friday, August 8, at 6:30pm at Earthman Funeral Directors-Hunter's Creek located at 8303 Katy Freeway. The funeral will be held at Annunciation Greet Orthodox Cathedral at 10:30am Saturday, August 9, officiated by Annunciation Greek Orthodox clergy. Interment will follow after the service at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her honor to the National Kidney Foundation.
