Bob Meynier - I hadn't thought about him in years. He seemed to always have a smile and was a fine drummer (as far a I could tell). I hope somebody has more to say.

Funeral services for Robert “Bob” Meynier, 65, of Rosenberg, Texas, previously of Houston, are 2 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2008, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg. Interment follows in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.

Visitation is noon to 2 p.m. Monday, July 28, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg.

Bob was born March 11, 1943, to Harold Jules Meynier and Mayme Eckols Meynier in Austin. He was a member of the National Guard and was employed by Southwest Airlines for 23 years. He passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2008, in Rosenberg.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Mayme Meynier; and sister, Julie Harriman.


Bob is survived by his children, Dawn Palacios and husband, Alfred, and Robert “Robby” Meynier Jr.; grandchildren: Eric, Tiffany and Kayla Palacios, and Justin Meynier; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Bob to M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, P.O. Box 4486, Houston, Texas, 77210-4486.
