The passing of John Alan Braden '63 hits hard, we exchanged emails a few times a year and I would look forward to reading his CPA bulletin about his life's experience to catch up on how he was doing.
It goes back to the days waiting for the school bus to Shearn Elem. at the same bus stop on Willowbend Blvd, our parents socializing from Westbury Methodist Church and their playing cards/42 dominoes at the Braden's, where John Alan & I would play hard.
When we had carpet put in our house at 4421 Briarbend in about '59, my Dad took the doors to have them trimmed to Earl Braden's table saw in his big garage work shop, they didn't realize they cut the top off half of the doors and not the bottom.
