Bill Pistole graduated from our school in 1964, a member of my class. His loving wife, Reverend Judye Pistole has provided this information pertaining to his death. He left us by cause of a heart attack on May 11, 1988, passing on while in Houston, Texas. He was a youthful 41 years of age. Bill was survived by his loving wife Reverend Judye Pistole, his children Brenda Pistole Long; Jessica Pistole Polk; Richard Pistole, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Bill graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1968 with a BS in Chemical Engineering, Summa Cum Laude with the highest GPA in the Engineering College. He worked for 20 years for Exxon. Bill, like the fine student and friend that he was to us all at Westbury, was a wonderful young man, husband and father. As we all knew would be true for Bill regardless of what he did professionally in life, he was an excellent engineer.
I thank Mrs. Pistole for providing this information and invite her, his children, and our classmates to publish additional information that remembers him in this virtual memorial.
We are honored that we could call Bill Pistole our friend and class member from Westbury High School. It was my privilege to record the information provided by and on behalf of Bill's wife and family.
Continue to rest in peace, Bill: fine student, wonderful husband and father, and good man.

He was my friend and we had lots of fun. Totally lost track of him after Westbury. Sorry that he was gone so soon.
