Thank you Linda Topper Busch for submitting this information pertaining to the loss of our friend and classmate, Ms. Edith Stagg. She graduated in our Westbury High School Class of 1964.
According to these records, Edith left her family due to suffering from cancer while in Houston, TX. I'm sorry to say that I do not yet have the year in which she passed on to I'm sure a better life.
Mrs. Stagg has been survived by her son, Jimmie Jones, and daughter: Kimberly Jones.

Edith was my big sister. Ovarian cancer took her from us on September 16, 2001. She is survived by her husband Jimmie Jones, her daughter Kim Jones-Garrison, and her grandson Nolan Garrison. Other survivors include her mother Helen Stagg, her brother John Stagg, sister Betty Stagg Demara. She was preceded in death by her father, William Stagg. Her older brother, Bill Stagg, followed her in death June 1, 2004.
Edith loved visiting with friends and family at their Lake Livingston lakehouse and fishing off the pier. She also loved supporting the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
