David Frost 1960 - 2016 Obituary Condolences David FrostOct. 4, 1960 - May 16, 2016 San Jose, CA.  David Thomas Frost, 55, died on May 16, 2016 in Houston, Texas, after a 5 year battle with neuroendocrine cancer. Born October 04, 1960 in Alberta, Canada to Jack and Shirlee Frost. David earned his Engineering degree from the University of Houston. He moved to California to pursue a career in the Disk drive industry. David had a very successful career at Komag, EDC and Xyratex. David was a notable inventor in the Disk Drive industry with numerous patents to his name. His passion was golfing and running. In January 2011, he was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroendocrine cancer. He fought his battle with such a positive attitude. He continued to play golf daily until about six months before his passing. David called it 'his physical therapy'! His zest for life inspired everyone who knew him. David was known for his witty jokes, the ability to make people laugh, and his kind loving nature. David's survivors include his wife of 23 years, Christy Frost, his daughters Brittney (22) and Courtney (17), his pup dog Jenny, preceded by parents Jack and Shirlee Frost, his sister Cheryl Robin and brother Jack Frost. A celebration of David's life will be held on Saturday June 11, 2016 at David's Restaurant in Santa Clara at 5:00 pm. Please contact the family if you are able to attend. Contact: frostorama@aol.com
