Kathy Harris was one of the most bullied girls at Westchester I was aware of. By the time we all graduated, things weren't so intense for her because we were all doing our own thing by then and never noticed her much.
She put up a brave front for us all. Sadly, I lost track of her. She was a giver, with a very sweet nature and just wanted to fit in.
I am ashamed to say that at the beginning of school, I gave her grief. I'm sorry Kathy. You deserved better.
I am just now seeing news of Kathy's passing and agree with Terry and Yvonne's comments. Kathy did put up a brave front. She was kind, sweet and genuine. As someone with a special needs brother, I wish I had taken the lead to befriend Kathy, which might have eased her way. Although the need was recognized, I was too immature at the time to provide any comfort. I regret that. Wishing you peace, Kathy.

I am just catching up on this site after a few years of not looking at it. Sorry to hear about Kathy. She
endured a lot of bullying and deserved none of it. I hope she had a happier life than she had at school and
I hope we all learned to be better to people than we were to her.

Kathy seemed to be a very SWEET girl, with a kind soul.
She ALWAYS had a smile
for me.
