Kathleen "Kate" Marie Powers Thomas

December 1, 1953 - August 11, 2004

Kate P. Thomas was tragically taken after a year-long illness (glioblastoma) at age 50. 

She is survived by three sons, her pride and joy and life's work.  Christopher (28), Kyle (26), and Colin (22) Thomas are doing amazingly well; it is a testament to her mothering abillity. 

Kate is also survived by her three siblings, all Westchester graduates.  Dr. Brian Powers (WHS 70), residing in Houston, Mark Powers (WHS 75) residing in Lake Forest, Illinois, and Susan Powers Jannusch (WHS 76) living in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. 

We all miss her terribly.  As a Sister, she was a gift.
