GALVESTON — Brian Livesay Taylor, 50, passed away October 27, 2006, at John Sealy Hospital in
Galveston, Texas. Funeral arrangements are pending with Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston, Texas.

BRIAN TAYLOR, 50, passed away in Galveston on Friday, October 27 after suffering a fatal accident on Wednesday, October 18, which caused a second traumatic brain injury (TBI). He made his home in Spring, but was a resident at TideWay on Galveston Island (www.tideway-galveston.org) following his first TBI accident in 2001.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday Nov. 11 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church (www.stjohnvianney.org), 625 Nottingham Oaks Trail, Houston, TX 77079.
Brian was a graduate of Westchester High School - Class of 1974, and Texas A&M University. He was CEO of Horizon Engineering, Inc., which he founded in 1991. He was a long-term resident of the Houston area and well known in the offshore petroleum sector. He enjoyed surfing, fishing, and other aquatic and outdoor activities. He was a cherished husband and a devoted father.
Brian is survived by his wife Debora, daughter Jacqueline, mother Jean, and brothers Larry and Kevin. He was preceded in death by his father Jim.
