Teresa Duewall Ray passed away surrounded by her loved ones and was welcomed by Jesus on Saturday, January 26, 2019, after a tough fight with cancer. She was born on April 26, 1963 in Houston, TX to Don and Nina Duewall. She was survived by her husband, Robert Rieke, along with her two sons, Michael Ray and wife Meghan Orta-Ray, and Rickey Taylor and Rocsann Pair-Crawford; her sister Debbie Ryan and brother Kenny Duewall; (5) grandchildren, Jasmine (Jazzy), Aaron, Kyler, Nyah and a granddaughter on the way, Rylie Brianne Taylor. Also by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many other extended family members and a large group of cherished friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Jennifer Ray; sister Brenda Duewall Effelberg and brother Jimmy Duewall.
A visitation for Teresa will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079. A graveside service will occur Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079.
