ELIZABETH LOUISE KEATING, 48, passed away suddenly on August 31, 2006. Elizabeth was born August 12, 1958 in Oxnard, CA. She grew up in Houston and was a 1976 Graduate of Westchester H.S. She received her BA from Trinity University in San Antonio and later earned an MBA from the University of Texas in Austin.
Elizabeth worked as an accounting IT project manager consultant in Dallas. She devoted herself to charitable work and served on the boards of Vickery Meadows Learning Center, Prevent Blindness of Texas and the Junior League of Dallas. Elizabeth touched many people during her life and leaves many friends across the country.
She is survived by her parents, Donald and Marie Keating; brothers, John (wife Bridget) and Jim (wife Sandra) Keating; sister, Christine Keating; nieces and nephews, Kellie, Laura, Claire, John Francis Xavier and Katherine and numerous God-Children with whom she kept in constant contact.
A memorial service will be held for Elizabeth Louise Keating, who passed away on August 31, this Saturday (Sept 9), at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church (6306 Kenwood Ave, Dallas) at 1:00 PM. A reception will follow.
