I remember where I was when my sister called to tell me about Mitchell. I cried a lot and the news really made me sad that his life was so short. It was made even more so by the fact his wife was about to deliver twins, and his children would never know their dad. Your life was to short Mitchell.

I was just talking about Mitchell the other day because of burping (it's so ironic because I just got this site info). I was joking around with some of my football players and telling them that I new this guy that would gulp his breath up a few times and then burp out a short sentence of something. Not that burping defined him, but it did make me think of all the other memories ...

I cannot even remember all the good times I had with Mitch because I had so many. We lived a couple of blocks from each other and hung-out all the time. When we were in 7th Grade he'd show up at my house on Barryknoll in the summer at 6:30am on garbage collection days. Mitch had befriended the guys hauling garbage and they liked him so much they'd let him drive those crazy 3-wheeler carts. He'd pick me up and together we would clean up a few blocks together. What a ride! Mitch was a loyal friend and a guy you just couldn't help but like. God Bless Mitch.

Old Bulldog....When Mitchell walked in a room, two things happened... the volume went up and the laughter increased. Mitchell was just fun to be in the room with. Always laughing, always cutting up and he always had a deal for you. Bulldog was a "wheeler-dealer" and I sure miss his infectious personality, smile, and laugh...

Mitchell was always such a wheeler/dealer. I can remember him pulling his case of jewry out and tring to get me to buy something. I met my lovely wife at Mitchell's apartment in San Marcos. He always told me that he should have beat me to her. Mitchell always such a way about him. He could always brighten room with his smile. I'm glad I kept him away from Vicki. I also bought my enagaement ring from Mitchell.

I got to room with Mitchell our first year at SWT. I agree with Zack, he was a wheeler dealer. Mitchell had Malibu Jewelry when we were in college and even had an intertube with the company name on it. He told me it was free advertisement when he would float the San Marcos River.

He died in a traffic accident in 1988.
