In Memory

Michael Allyn Sublett VIEW PROFILE

Michael Allyn Sublett

In memory of my little brother MICHAEL ALLYN SUBLETT.  He was born May 15, 1960 and departed this earth along with his wife Clare on November 14, 1998.  Mike left behind two beautiful step daughters, Alexis and Christin.  Mike would be proud to see the girls he raised doing so well.  Alexis graduates from A&M in December and Christin is a junior at the University.

Mike was a self taught business man, computer expert and exceptional sales man.  Always the advid outdoorsman, fisherman and loved by all.  Both he and Clare loved sharing their life with their friends around them.

With a love that knows no end!

Apostle Casey M. Sublett D.D.

I remember seeing Mike every now and then at a beer party. last time i saw him he was just hanging out and being down to earth, as always. he was so good looking! and such a nice guy!!

i read his obituary; i think it was in the late 90's. he had married a woman in austin that already had 2 small girls from a previous marriage. they were all on a car outing and she was driving. they slid off of an icy road, killing her and mike, but the 2 girls that were in the back lived. last i heard the girls afterward went to live with mrs. sublett. i am hoping i am getting this all correctly. it was very tragic.

we will miss you, mike, and are sorry about this terrible loss.

I loved Mike. We were good friends all through high school. Mike became a Christian the summer before his junior year and he really did love the Lord. That gives me great peace about where he resides now. We had a lot of fun in Young Life and on Young Life trips. He was a great friend to so many people.

I've known Mike my whole life. Our families were and still are connected. I'll never forget Dan Madeley's touching and loving tribute to Mike at his funeral which touched all of us who had grown up with Mike since Rummel Creek days. And all the funny stories we shared with one another remembering what a great friend and fun person he was.

He was so happy in the end with his beautiful new wife and lovely step daughters, living in Austin. I remember Ruth saying how they died in each others' arms, which gave her some comfort for her great loss.

We really miss you, Mike.

It just doesn't seem right to have a reunion and share memories, laughs, etc. without Mike. He was such an important part of my high school years and my life. He was my first love and such a great, kind, loving guy. I still think of him often and can't believe how many years have passed. I still miss him and he will always have a very special place in my heart.

Mike was truely a great friend. We hade great times together Growing up. Some of those times remembered better than others. He would always be there to help me organize those backyard parties. He is truely missed. I'm glad I have some pictures to remind me of the times.
