Cindy passed away on August 15, 1979. I think about her often - and miss her so much.... It was just before everyone left to go off to college. We were best buds during our junior and senior year.
I have a GREAT memory of going to Cancun with her during the summer after our junior year in high school with my family - 1978. It was when Cancun had only a few hotels and we stayed at the Camino Real. It was spectacular and we had a blast...I ordered Steak Tartar and didn't know it was going to be raw meat. We laughed so hard and I ate it anyway to prove that I could.
She was always so confident and I admired her spunk! I will think about her the rest of my life, and feel honored to have known her.
