40th REUNION News:   

Class of ’84 Wildcats- 40th Reunion is done and dusted!🐾🧡💙🧡

REUNION THANK YOU!

Thank you for attending and being part of our 40th Reunion Celebration (the 7th one since we graduated on Sunday, May 20, 1984).

We have had a variety of fantastic venues and events over the past 40 years… From picnics on WHS campus, the Cattleguard in downtown Houston, Adams Mark and Hyatt Regency hotel banquet rooms, flag football games at Tully Stadium and Cadillac Bar (riddled with lots of tequila shooters)… Birra Poretti’s, Marfreless (the mysterious bar with the unmarked blue door), the Black Swan (for the 3rd time) and Top Golf! We have had some grand and memorable times….

THANK YOU’S GO OUT TO:

1. Mrs. Still: it was an honor to have you join us, and we want to express our heartfelt appreciation for attending and sharing in the fun. So many people are tremendously grateful that you were there to celebrate with us, so thank you so very much!

2. My reunion committee: Emily Eckermann Clay, Claudia Craft Huthnance, Jennifer Riddle Brock, Michele DeGuerin Luke, Audrey Ivey Olsen and Debbie Novick Ryan. Thank you for your patience as we exchange insane number of emails and worked our way through determining dates… then locations… and all the details so that we could make it a fantastic reunion weekend. 

3. Jill Cordray Calloway and Shellye Arnold for organizing and making it possible for Mrs. Still to grace us with her presence. Thank you, Jill, for making our pep rally style posters and picking up all the WHS memorabilia and taking it all to the T-Tavern. Also, for the lovely scrapbook and photos you took to create the perfect gift for Mrs. Still, the memory book that we all signed and left messages for her. Lastly thank you so much, Shellye and Jill, for the beautiful Texas cutting board that everyone signed.

· I would like to remind you to please keep your contact information and emails updated on this class website. This is the site where we maintain contact information and update our “In Memory” page, and send out announcements to several classmates that do not use Facebook.

· Please donate to the Westchester Alumni Association (WAA) if you can; any amount helps tremendously for the graduating classes of Westchester Academy for International Studies. Message me if you need the info, but it is easily found by google search.

· If anyone has ideas for future reunions, you know I am open and love to hear it.

I love you all and I’m so truly grateful to have you in my life! I thank you for all the kind messages. We definitely Partied More then ever at our 40th Reunion weekend!
