Susan Michelle Phillips, 42, died peacefully onJuly 18, 2000, after a valiant battle with cancer. Micki (as she was known by her friends) was a long time employee of the Conroe Independent School District. She was born on March 30, 1958, in Tulsa, Okla., and graduated from Alief Hastings High School.

She is survived by her father and stepmother, Dick and Sheila Phillips; brothers, Mike and Mark; sister-in-law, Laura; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was surrounded by her many friends and family when she died.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be Thursday, July 20, 2000, at 1 p.m., at Cashner Colonial Chapel, with another followed by interment, Friday, July 21, 2000, at 2 p.m., in Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery, in Colleyville, Texas
