Got married at 21. Opened a Construction Company with Late Husband David Crawford. In 1986, my husband became ill with Hepatitis C. He was one of the first people diagnosed with the disease. Up to this point, there was no test for Hepatitis C, so when David got a blood transfusion in a knee reconstruction surgery, he received tainted blood. I went into Banking and took care of my terminally ill Husband for 18 yrs. until he died in 2004 at the top of the transplant list awaiting a new Liver. 4 yrs later, I lost my twin sister Debbie to Pneumonia Complications. I retired from Banking in 2003.
