Fred Lenard Hale Jr. died in Round Rock, Texas on June 20, 2026. Fred, born on December 7, 1955, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life.

Fred was predeceased by his parents, Fred L. Hale Sr. and Odett Decker Hale; and his sisters, Marsha Holden, Linda A. Hale and Diana Hale.

He is survived by his wife Andrea Ann Monsour Hale of Galveston, Texas; his sister Karen Hale of Alief, Texas; his daughter Sarah Marie Hale Pursley and husband Billy Joe Pursley; his grandchildren, Eloise and Robert; and his son David Hale and wife Rebecca Patterson Hale.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Fred's memory.
