The Adult Choir plays an integral part in the worship experience at the Downtown Campus. We lead the congregation in two traditional morning worship services each week. The choir sings a variety of sacred music incorporating classics, traditional anthems, hymn arrangements and spirituals. We also present several concerts annually, including seasonal services during Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter, accompanied by full orchestra, brass ensembles, string ensembles and hand bells. Special music events are planned throughout the year and have included operas, oratorios, Broadway Dinner Theaters, and Opera Dinner Theaters. The choir plans special music tours every three years. Past tours have included trips to New York City, Washington D.C., Italy, Great Britain, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Open to all adult singers, the choir family is a close fellowship for those who love to sing.
