I used to ride the bus with Steve from the far west side. He was a high energy guy with a prankster sense of humor. He was running a crew for the general contractor that was building out the offices that our company was moving into back in 1983. We had lunch a couple of times around then. I think that he and Deana had gotten married. I lost track of him after that.
Steven and I use to hunt West of the Addicks Dam (now called Bush Park) back in the days. Yes it was illegal. We were stupid teenagers then. We had a blast duck hunting. We did get caught by a game warden but he didn't do anything to us. That was the end of our hunting adventures.
I can't remember her name but he dated the tallest girl in school and I think he was the shortest guy. Even shorter than me! They made quite a pair walking down the halls.
I was stunned when I learned of his tragic accident. Killed by a drunk driver. Senseless.
