We just recently learned that Dr. Don Miller, Class of 1975 passed away on 12/21/2020 following his battle with Covid. He was a physician in Bowling Green, Kentucky and had been helping on the front lines with Covid patients since March of last year. The hospital where he was working posted a nice memorial in his honor which I hope you can open. Very sad and hard to lose another one of our classmates..... https://medcenterhealth.org/person/donald-miller-md/

Donny was a true friend and not surpirsed he was helping at the hospital in Kentucky digging in and taking care of patients. So sad he was fighting covid and passed .....but as a Hero, and that is how I will remember him.
He played basketball with the Pattillos, and we were on the Track team, and KAs at UT. He could run and I recall fond memories of the Lee HS Track Team going to the Border Olympics in Laredo with Donny..... He could run a long way.... Donny was in my wedding party and I was in his. Tommy Dawson and I recall going to Kentucky for that fun wedding so many years ago. He had a passion for medicine-- he was smart--and I know he helped a lot of people. Bless Him our good friend, and prayers for his large family. Donny Miller, a Hero!

Wow. Donny was a great guy and died a HERO on the front lines of Covid. We should all let this be a lesson that Covid is not a fake disease nor one to be wished away. RIP Donny
