John Villasenor

"Big John" P. Villasenor of Willis, Texas (Formerly of Houston, Texas) died September 3, 2011 in Waco, Texas in a tragic boating accident. He was born May 30, 1963, in Houston. He grew up on the "Northside" and graduated from Sam Houston High School. He was very active in FFA and continued to support the program at Sam Houston and Klien Collins High School throughout his life. John owned and operated A.J.'s Grease Rack on Fulton St. in Houston.

John was an avid Boat Racer active in the SDBA with many High Point Championships and Records. He competed from Coast to Coast in the SDBA and the Lucas Drag Boat Series. He was always a fierce competitor and front runner and a friend to everyone he met. John had a strong volunteer spirit and was a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and an active committeeman serving on the BBQ Committee. John also supported various charities in Harris and Montgomery counties.

John is survived by his wife, DeeAnna McCrary, stepson W. Michael McCrary and his wife Lindsey McCrary and two grandsons Clark and Griffin McCrary, stepson Patrick S. McCrary, father Arthur J. Villasenor, mother Julia Villasenor, sister Renee Villasenor Elder and her husband Martin Elder, nieces Kelsey Villasenor and Alexis Korioth, in-laws Johnny and Bootsie Dodson and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his beloved dog Bart.

Visitation at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home included a rosary recital. Funeral services were Friday, September 9, 2011, at The Woodlands United Methodist Church at 2200 Lake Woodlands, The Woodlands, TX 77380.
