Fred Buttaccio

Frederick Martin Buttaccio, 58, of Katy, Texas passed away in January, 2013.

He was born in Rochester, New York on September 9, 1954. He received his BBA in Accounting in 1976 from the University of Houston and his CPA in 1981. He worked in the Oil and Gas Industry over 36 years for Huffco, VICO, and British Petroleum in places as diverse as Houston; Oklahoma City; Ankara, Turkey; Jakarta, Indonesia; Hassi Messaoud, Algeria; and In Amenas, Algeria.

Fred is being celebrated by family and friends for his loving heart, caring nature, and signature sense of humor that brought a smile to the face of everyone he encountered. Fred spent a lifetime experiencing the world and always respecting everyone he met, no matter their position, culture, or religion. 

He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Roberta Ann Buttaccio.

To carry on his memory he leaves his loving wife of 35 years, Rene Rodgers Buttaccio, son Frederick Joseph Buttaccio of Katy, and daughter Angela Buttaccio Polselli who resides in Paoli, Pennsylvania with husband Tony Polselli; Father, Frederick Joseph Buttaccio, of Houston; Brothers and Sisters: Thomas J. Buttaccio of Houston, wife Pamela, and children, Michael, Justine, and Felicia; Peter Alan Buttaccio of Hood River, Oregon, wife Connie, and children, Dominic and Lily; Mary Kay Miller of Grants Pass, Oregon, husband Rich, and children, Patrick, Ryan, and Casey; Carla Ann Stech of Sugar Land and husband, Brock, and children, Elizabeth and Allison. He also leaves many devoted friends and colleagues around the world. 

His family and friends are comforted by the thought that now that Fred is in heaven, he might finally be able to perfect his golf game, especially his chipping.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, January 25, 2013, at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church,1530 Norwalk Drive, Katy, Texas 77450. 

A funeral mass will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., on January 26, 2013, at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church,1530 Norwalk Drive, Katy, Texas 77450. Internment to follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079.
