Verl Duncan

Tamra and Verl's mothers were best friends growing up so their families naturally were very close. There is a picture of Tamra, Verl, and their siblings on the front step of the Duncan farm home when they were in grade school. Life has many curves and evenually Verl's father and Tamra's mother married after their spouses had passed away. Those six grubby, tossled little buddies in the old picture became all one family as adults. Tamra never married and, except for a time in the Peace Corps, she remained in Hubbard until her death from breast cancer. Her favorites included her memories and friends from the Peace Corps, family reunions, crafting, gardening, reading, and anything to do with the community of Hubbard. She always found time for family and friends. She also never, never, never, ever, ever, ever wrote in cursive - she always printed everything in even and exact letters. If she were alive today, we would have to hog-tie her and drag her to the reunion but she would have had a great time! Miss you Tam - Verl & Barb Duncan
