Survived By: His wife Danelle, son Christopher Gordon, daughter Nicole Alvarez, 6 grandchildren, brother, Gary Gordon, Nephew Lloyd Gordon, neice Ashley Maupin and husband Eric Maupin.

Jim was a born again Christian and led his family well. He enjoyed bowling, golf, and leading a Bible Study, but the most important desire of his life was that all of his children and grandchildren would come to know the Lord Jesus Christ. He also demonstrated his faith as a basketball coach and had a great influence in the lives of his players teaching them not only basketball skills but also life skills. Many of his former players came to his Memorial service. His influence as a leader and friend will be greatly missed!
