Dianne was a funny person. Of course, we went to the Big Marietta ISD together. I always teased her because she would say LAIG for leg and AIG for egg. I told her she was from Mareitta, where did she get that talk from. She had to work with her parents cutting and hauling logs her whole life. She married and had a son. She got a headache the week before Thanksgiving. She went to the doctor and they gave her med and all but her head would not quit hurting. On Thanksgiving day or the day after she went to ER in Mt. Pleasant. They airlifted her to Tyler. She had a blood vessel leaking in her brain. They tried to stop the bleeding but could not. They told us that she would die when the blood touched a certain part of her brain.
Yes, I do remember Dianne being funny! One of my favorite memories is the photo of her & Gene Barr wearing their black cowboy hats... that was a really good pic of both of them!
I never really knew what caused her death. I hope that she did not suffer.

I too Like Missie, went to Marietta ISD. We were there for 8 yrs together from 1st to the 8th grade. Sorry to hear that she is no longer with us. I too remember her being very country linguistly speaking. Rest in peace Lady.
