Vivian Clay Wakefield, 81, of Ashland, KY, formerly Proctorville, OH, went home to be with Her Lord and Savior on December 20, 2022. She was born August 2, 1941 in Linnville, OH to the late Donald and Ruth Clay. In addition to her parents she was proceeded in death by her brothers Ray Lewis Clay and Don Clay. She is survived by her three daughters; Belinda and her Husband Ron Hardin of Wichata Falls,TX, Corinna and her Husband Eddie Price of Ashland, KY and Jessica and her husband Joseph Hawley of Orlando, FL. She also has 7 Grandchildren Christopher, James, Kayla, Jordan, Allyson, Nevaeh and Noah as well as 3 great grandchildren.

She graduated from Huntington High school in 1959. She was a licensed nurse and worked for Pro Nursing and at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She served the Lord at First Baptist Church of Proctorville where she helped in Sunday School, Bus Ministry, Church Camp, Senior Ministry and was a Foster parent to many youth among other things. She also went on many medical missions trips where they helped others with health issues while spreading God’s word. Her passion was to travel, quilting and playing games with her family.A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday December 28, 2022 at Hall Funeral Home & Crematory in Proctorville, OH. Burial will follow
