Stephen Curtis Smith passed awayat age 48 on January 20, 1990 near Sandpoint, Idaho. Curtis was born March 27, 1941 in Yankton, SD, the son of Arthur and Loretta Smith. He was a graduate of the University of Denve as a Certifiied Public Accountant. He was employed at the Dillingham Corp. in Hawaii for 14 years where he was vice president and controller. He retired and moved to Idaho in 1988.  On June 11,,1985 he married Janet M. France in Ketchikan, Alaska. Curtis was a member of the Lake Pend Orielle Idaho Club and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was survived by his wife, two  stepchildren, his father and a brother, Lindsey Smith of Littleton, Colorado.
