David P. Setzer, 82 of Trinity NC, formerly Barboursville WV, passed away on November 19th, 2023. David was born on July 25th, 1941, to the late Howard and Helen Setzer in Johnson City, NY.
David was a US Army veteran and retired building contractor. He loved his family and woodworking. David is survived by his wife Nancy Setzer and his sister Judy White of Knoxville, TN, his daughters; Marsha and Harry Hizer of WV, Holly and Bob Corolla of MD, Paige and Mitchell Hall of NC, Terry Roemer of NC, Paula and Eric Cummings of VA, 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his brother Jim Setzer and sister Carol Bauer.
A graveside service will be held on Friday November 24th, 11:00am, at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Salisbury NC. A Celebration of Life visitation will be held on November 25th, from 3:00pm until 4:30pm at the Wallace Funeral Home in Barboursville, WV.
David P. Setzer will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew him. His memory will forever live in our hearts.
