Franklin William Cass Nicholas VIEW PROFILE

FRANKLIN  WILLIAM CASS NICHOLAS, 76, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Monday, March 5, 2018, at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born on June 10, 1941, to the union of the late Earl Joseph and Sara Jane Robinson Nicholas. Franklin graduated in 1959 from Huntington High School.. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army and served as a Medic during the Vietnam War. Franklin was an avid reader, creative artist, inventor and loved the sciences. He is preceded in death, along with his parents, by his five siblings,William Clayton Parsons, Samuel Robert Nicholas, Alice JoAnn Nicholas, Jethro Earl Nicholas and Howard Garland Nicholas. He leaves behind to mourn his loss: his sister, Mrs. Martha L. Nicholas Edwards of Huntington, and brother, John Henry Nicholas of Baton Rouge, La. Also surviving is a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society. Funeral services and burial will be held private for family only.
