John Scot Armstrong, 39, of Huntsville died Sunday at his residence.
He loved to play Frisbee golf, scuba diving, mountain bike riding, fishing, boating and camping. The thing he loved the most was spending time with his son, Tanner.
He is survived by his son, John Tanner Armstrong; father, John Wayne Armstrong; mother, Beverly Grubbs; one sister, Heather Armstrong; one brother, Matt Armstrong; and niece, Riley Armstrong.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Valhalla Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
