Russell Joe Applegate Jr., passed away on June 25, 2019. He was born March 4, 1963 to Russell Joe Applegate Sr. and Mary (Cordum) Applegate. he was a graduate of Grissom High School and the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Joe married Darien (Cook) Applegate in 1987, with whom he had two children. Joe owned and operated, with their son, Allure Advertising in North Carolina and South Carolina. Joeis survived by his wife, Darien; their children Curtis of Charleston, SC and Julia of Nashville, TN; mother, Mary of Fort Mill, SC; sisters donna Kaiser of Gulf Shores, AL, Diana Johnson of Cairo, GA and Deborah Applegate of Huntsville,AL; and many nieces and nephews. There will be private gatherings to celebrate Joe in Tega Cay and Charleston, SC.
