The last time I saw Tara was at the 10-year reunion and I will miss not getting to see her and enjoy her spunky personality at this one. Love to Tara---we miss you!

Tara was my very first friend when I came to Alabama in the fourth grade. She was spunky, energetic, and had a fun outlook on life. She left behind three children. There is not a night that goes by, as I lie in bed with my 3 children, sometimes in exhaustion, that her beautiful face does not pop into my head, as she reminds me to hug my children and sing to them and love them. I miss her, I miss the fact that I did not stay in contact with her over the years, and I miss the fact that my children will not have the opportunity to meet a very special person in my life- who helped to shape the person that I am today. Opportunity to love, missed.
