Dawn Bennett Davis, 53, of Huntsville passed away Monday.

A lifetime resident of Huntsville, she graduated in 1975 from Huntsville High School and in 1977 from North Alabama College of Commerce. Dawn worked for Bragg Furniture for almost 15 years and was a member of Gurley Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a loving wife, sister and aunt. Dawn enjoyed gardening and taking care of her "girls," JoJo, Bobbi, Annie and Kissie.

Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Don Davis; father, Wildon Bennett; sister, Tara Cochran; brother, Robbyn Bennett; mother-in-law, Geraldine Davis; sister-in-law, Kathryn Moriarty; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service at 1 p.m. Thursday at Maple Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Toy Brindley officiating. Laughlin Service Funeral Home is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gurley Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
