Richard (Capt. Rick) Certain, age 59, went home to be with the love of his life, the late Deborah White Certain, on Friday, October 28, 2016. He was a native of Huntsville, AL and a longtime resident of LaPlace, LA.

Father of Danny Ray Fugate, Noah Anthony Fugate, Brandy Lee Eichler and Mandy Certain-Locascio. Son of the late Ruthie Lee Certain and Eules Hermon Certain. Brother of Margerette, Arlene, Mary-Sue, Milldred, Thelma, Tula Lee, Amanda, Bobby, Tommy, Kathy and the late Jimmy Certain. He had many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. Ricky was a loving husband, father, grandfather, a friend to all and a proud Tugboat Captain for 39 years.
