Walter Ivey Dilworth

Walter Ivey Dilworth, 39, of Huntsville died Thursday at a Nashville hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at The Church of the Nativity with the Rev. Marc Brown and the Rev. Robert Cook officiating.

Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Laughlin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Dilworth was a partner in Dilworth Lumber Company. He graduated from Auburn University with a degree in wildlife management and was past president the Byrd Spring Rod and Gun Club.

Survivors include his wife, Marna Mackey Dilworth; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Penn Dilworth III of Huntsville; and a brother, William Penn Dilworth IV of Huntsville.

Visitation will be today from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family requests no flowers.
