December 28, 1956 - September 8, 2024

Ms. Kathy Lorene Fleming Adams was born December 28, 1956 in Madison County, Alabama, to the late Mr. Charles Fleming, Sr., and Ms. Susie Steger Doss. Kathy entered eternal rest on September 8, 2024 at Valley View Health and Rehabilitation in Madison, Alabama. 

Kathy accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior early in life. She was baptized and attended several different churches during her lifetime.

Kathy attended schools in the Huntsville City School System. She was a graduate of Huntsville High School in 1975.

She was a cook in various cafeterias at Redstone Arsenal for twenty-three (23) years. She was loved dearly by her co-workers. 

Kathy leaves to cherish her loving and devoted memories one son: Mr. Antonio U. Douglas of Harvest, Alabama; three brothers: Mr. Ruben (Diane) Collier of Ardmore, Alabama, Mr. Chuck (Erica) Fleming, Jr., and Mr. Timothy Fleming both of Chattanooga, Tennessee; step-mother: Ms. Lela Fleming of Chattanooga, Tennessee; aunt: Ms. Patricia (Richendal) Collier of Gurley, Alabama; two uncles: Mr. Larry (Mattie) Steger and Mr. Charles (Janetta) Steger both of Huntsville, Alabama; first husband: Mr. Elmo Douglas of Huntsville, Alabama; two special n-laws: Mr. Keith Adams and Ms. Essie Hardin of New Market, Alabama; two nephews, two nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Ms. Kathy F. Adams will be Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.at Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Tabernacle with Reverend Hernandez Ford officiating. Interment will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.  

Ms. Adams will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
