Pamela Gilmore Obituary

Pamela Joy Gilmore of Toney died Friday at her residence. She was 48. Pamela was a native of Birmingham, and was a resident of Madison County for most of her life. A computer technician with Northrup-Grumman, she was a volunteer member of the Huntsville/Madison County Botanical Garden, the American Pool Players Association and the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her parents, Shirley and Henry Locklear of Toney; father, James E. Gilmore of Oxford, Miss.; one sister, Donna Bailes of Toney; three brothers, Ted Gilmore of Denver, Jimmy Locklear of Pembroke, N.C., and William Locklear of New Market; two stepsisters, Betty Barrow of Charlotte, N.C., and Patricia Knott of Laurinburg, N.C.; one niece, Elizabeth Locklear of Huntsville; and two nephews, T.J. Bailes of Athens, and Tyler Gilmore of Denver.

Arrangements are being handled by Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial services will be at the funeral home chapel at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
