Funeral services for Jimmy Lee Hill, 54, of Winchester, Tenn., will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 15 at Watson North Funeral Home in Winchester. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Mr. Hill passed away Friday, April 13 at Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma. He was born Sept. 30, 1957, in Florence.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wilmer Walstein Hill Jr.; brother, Charles Walstein Hill; and daughter, Heather Chase Hill.

He is survived by his wife, Regina Hill; daughter, Lensey Hill Smith and husband Adam of Madison; mother, Nellie Sue Morris and husband Sam of Winchester; brother, George Hill and wife Kathy of Huntsville; sister, Donna and husband Ken of Sumter, S.C.; aunt, Oleda McCafferty of Florence; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Hill was an avid outdoorsman and loved to bird hunt and fish. He loved to train bird dogs and spent many fall seasons in the fields with his faithful dog, Ollie. He also loved trips to the beach, gardening, concerts, spending time with loved ones and Auburn football.

Jimmy was also an expert home builder, master craftsman and a 30-year employee at Arnold Air Force Base in Tullahoma. While employed there, he made many lifelong friends who became as close as family members.

He was a practical joker with a wonderful sense of humor and unfailingly generous to those he loved and to those who loved him.

Pallbearers will be Michael Tucker, Buford Wilson, Ray Underwood, Ricky Arnold, Greg Houston and Gary Trail. Honorary pallbearers will be his co-workers at Arnold Air Force Base.
