Kelly Rhodes Bucher passed away peacefully Saturday, February 4, 2023 at home. 

Kelly was the second of three children born to Marie E.J. Rhodes and Ernest Franklin Rhodes.  She was born in Heidelberg, Germany when her father was stationed there in the US Army. Her mother was a native of Germany. Being in a military family, Kelly traveled and lived in many parts of the world settling in Huntsville. She was a graduate of Huntsville High School in 1975, and attended business school at Alabama Christian College the following year. She worked in the service industry until her retirement. Kelly loved being “Aunt KK” to her great nephews David and Dalton who were the love of her life. She played endlessly with them and her beloved dogs in the yard.  

Kelly was a truly gentle soul who was always so kind, positive and cheerful despite many medical challenges.  She was a privately spiritual person who freely expressed her love for the Lord. Kelly will be deeply missed.

Kelly is survived by her nephew Zachary David Page (Sarah Lauren); brother Thomas M Rhodes (Theresa); niece Melissa Luther; great nephews David and Dalton Page and a very dear friend Janice Rodgers.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Deborah Rhodes Page; and nephew Nicholas Nechy.
