Jeff Matt Striplin, 42, of Huntsville died Wednesday, June 28, at a local hospital. 

The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Laughlin Service Chapel with the Rev. Mac Buttram officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Striplin was a lifelong resident of Huntsville and owned Advanced Sand Blasting Co.

Survivors include his wife, Robin Spurrier Striplin of Huntsville; one son, Samuel Tyler Striplin of Huntsville; his parents, James and Vivian Striplin of Anniston; one brother, James Burdin Striplin of Anniston; one sister, Jan Hayes of Albany, Ga.; and two nieces.

Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
